Hi, i am not so sure about the tyre size of my car, it now featyres 205/60/15 as bought and most possibly it is 195/65/15. Is this correct and also, which tyre brand should i use for better performance and safety for the state of California with mostly motorways miles? Something last, is the 205 or even 225 affecting the car''s performance instead of the 195/65/15? Thanks.

Ok the first three numbers are the tire width, the second is that percent tall, and the third is the rims size. The 205/6015 is wider and probbly grips the road better but, it may also take more gas milage to use. The 195/60/15 is more economical but realy is about the same exept mabee a little griping power. Unless you have a High performance car the 195/60/15 is proubly the way to go. I would recommend the michellen Agility/ or weatherwise two. It has grate milage warrants all season characteristics and has a nice price. Not to much, not to little. The 225 would be even wider than the other two tires offering better traction, just make sure you get the proper overall diameter and make sure they fit in your wheel wells. The may rubb a tad on sharp turns.
