Bought an e240 1998 76k about 6 weeks ago.
Over last 2-3 weeks when you put your foot down, the revs increase but it doesnt change gear until you release your foot off accelerator... also, when stop on a steep hill it will not hold unless you apply brake - start rolling?!
just had gearbox fluid checked - level etc is fine...
Anyone any ideas? - man said to just run it til it breaks???? as needs seals replacing - anyone any idea how much this will cost?
Anyone you can recommend in west yorkshire area?
