Hello ! I just buy an ML320 1998 model, and the roof window doesn''t slide back into the roof, only moveing up and down. Anyone has an idea to fix the problem?Thankks : Danny

the roof might need to be normalized.  or the wind deflector is probably broken and obstructing the roof from going back.   will it go back if you keep pushing the switch back, dont hold the switch, but keep pulling the switch back to open the roof. youll probably find the wind deflector is broken, when you open the roof the winddeflector should pop up.

I have an ML too and mine wouldn''t open but it would tilt. I took it into the dealership and the button wasn''t sychronized. You can always have the techs at the dealer check it out.
