No I was just told that a firmware update had to be done prior to installing new nav disk. I did just get this info sent to me, maybe you need to do it as well. Hope this helps.

CAR OUTSIDE REMOVE ALL NAV DISKS , ENGINE RUNNING , LINE OF SIGHT TO SAT''S , PRESS AND HOLD * BUTTON FOR 10 SECONDS,RELEASE, PRESS # TWICE AND SYSTEM WILL DO UPGRADE AUTOMATICALLY now install new disk YOU MAY DRIVE CAR OR SHUT OFF OPERATE ALL NORMALY AND UPGRADE WILL PROCESS WITHIN NORMAL OPERATION OF THE NEXT FEW DAYS OF DRIVING
