It''s a tricky job and having a pair of locking needle nose pliars is almost a necessity - actually make it easy on yourself - go to Radio Shack and buy a couple of pairs of locking ''hemostats/forceps". You have to thread the spring back around the retaining post, then so the problem doesn''t occur again, use a dollop of some type of adhesive (I used black silicone seal). You need to keep the ''arm'' extended until the adhesive dries or you''ll likely have to start from square one again, but this time pick out the silicone first... Just remember, PATIENCE, PATIENCE.
