I have a 2000 SLK 2000 Kompressor convert and the anti tow light will not go off.
Any suggestion on how I can shut the light off. I press the button as the manual states, but the light on the console remains on.
When the alarm is set I notice that the anti tow light has a heart beat which I would assume is showing that the alarm is set, but when I deactivate the alarm the anti tow light remains on.
The car starts and runs fine but I don''t think this light should remain on.
Any help is welcome

I just did a google search cause I''m having the same problem with my 2001 SLK 320. Just started yesterday and its causing my alarm to sound every few minutes? Any insight is appreciated!
