Trans. gear position sensor
Hi, I have a P0705 fault code which is the gear position sensor box which is just under the shifter. Often times the 'P' on the dash won't light up or work. It seems there is just 1 place in the entire world that fixes these stupid things (Bulgaria) and it is too pricey! Ebay unit r just $100. but they don't work as they are not VIN coded. I tried one out from a CL and it didn't work either. All the thing is is a small circuit board. I'm tempted to hand it to a TV/Radio repair shop just to look for cracks. However, has anyone heard of a place that fixes these? There's a million ECU shops but NOTHING regarding this stupid little module! This is insane and I HATE MB for their idiocy! Thx, Brent
