My '82 300D keeps blowing the #8 fuse (blower motor, a/c compressor, idle stabilization).  At first, I thougt the two wires that plug into the compressor (new compressor 1.5 years ago) were touching.  I have fixed that problem, but the fuse still blows.  It doesn't seem to have any consistency in how long it lasts.  It will blow immediately part of the time, and other times it will run for a day or more.  It doesn't matter if it is in heat or a/c mode either.  Does this sound like a simple short in one of the wires, or is there something else I should be investigating, and how should I test it?  Thanks for your help.
