Hi , i have a problem with my 1999 c220cdi , the bas/esp & abs lights are coming on the fault codes coming up are c1000 and c1202 , occasionaly the speedo also stops working , my local mercedes dealer was unable to communicate with the car however we got above codes with snap on scanner , it also has another fault more than likely not related , car cuts out epc light comes on , turn off ignition wait 15 seconds and car restarts , fault code p1187 (fuel pressure monitoring )

 

turns out there was a build up of corrosion on the hub which talks to the abs sensor , this corrosion was so great it then wore away the end of the sensor thus bringing the light on when raining
