This is a great car inherited from an uncle, 120k miles, it has happened twice that it spins over strong but will not start, there is spark but not getting fuel, is there any history of this?

yeah.
no fuel means no start too.

jump fuel pump relay pins 5 and 7 ..block box behind battery thats says kickdown on it
