My 2007 clk550 has a humm and high frequency vibration at 1600 to 1800 rpm's moving or not,worse with a/c on. Felt primarily in steering wheel and shifter. Dealer says this is normal. Comments or suggestions please.

Get a second opinion, and test drive another and see if that one does the same thing.

check your electric engine fan- i have seen them get out of balance and cause vibrations.
