Though I live in Bangkok my wife and I visit the USA often. Last week I bought a 2006 55SL AMG. The cost of the car here is about 1/3rd of what I would have to pay for the same machine in Thailand. The Distronic is very useful here...but would not work very well in BKK.

Yes....because of the traffic. If I tried to keep 4 car lengths behind the car in front the space would quickly fill with 4 cars and a dozen mrorcycles.
