I have recently purchased a 2000 reg S500 LWB it has a button on the cenral console for 'TV' but when I press it it simply states 'tv not connected' would anyone know if I need to load on software or upgrade something, it is very annoying to have a button on the dash that is there but does not appear to do anything. Any ideas would be most welcomed!!!

Hi,
you need to buy a TV/aux receiver module to have that function working. It can be quite expensive. Once you have that, you will be able also to connect a dvd/divx player through it.

You might do well to call the dealer on this and see what the PARTS guy says and not the service manager. The parts guys will likely have heard this question before and can give you a quick answer whereas the service manager will just tell you to drop off the car and they will check it out.
If you are talking about a display you can see from the drivers seat it may be that your state outlaws televisions that can be seen by the driver. Some states still have these laws so it might have been illigal for the dealer to sell it that way.
