Telephone cradle, which phone fits?

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum trying to help out my friend who has just purchased a clk 320 coupe Avantgarde. My question is, How do i find out which type of phone fits the car''''s cradle? If it helps the car is an 05 registration. Rather than pay mercades extortionate prices for the new cradle he wouold rather just buy the phone that fitted the cradle.

does the car support bluetooth s i can sync my phone to the car?

Sorry to be a pain but whare do i find these cradle numbers to match the phone''s. I have had a quick look around the cradle in the arm rest but cant see any serial numbers which you have listed above?
