Wondering if anybody else has this problem. When I start my car at times, the steering wheel controls do not control the entertainment system and the I-pod cannot be detected. The dash display reads "Audio System Wait" then goes to "Audio System -----" it happens maybe 1 out of 10 times I start my car and it gets annoying at times. Anybody else have this problem?
I'm a little hesitant to take it in because I installed a command and i-pod adapter myself and I can just see them blameing it on that along with a huge bill. The thing is, when I had the stock stereo, it did something similar at the same 1 out of 10 times I started my car. The audio system would seem to work fine but no sound and the CD changer cannot be detected. I thought after I changed the head unit the problem would go away but apparently not. I think their must be a problem in the optical bus controller or something that causes the intermittent problem.
BTW: I still have not found a solution to getting a external GPS antenna for my retrofit command. Cant seem to find a antenna with the right connector that is a glass mount external. Any Ideas on that would also be appreciated.
