I recently picked up an 03 S430 with the Sport Package and I find myself in need of new front brakes/pads. I am relatively handy and believe I can handle this job. A couple of questions;
1. Are the disks/calipers/pads any different on the Sport Package than standard?
2. Any suggestions on brand/type of rotors?
3. Any suggestions on brand/type of pads?
4. Any links to doing this brake job?
When I first got the vehicle there was a TON of squeeking that I could mostly eliminate with some hard braking. Is this a typical symptom for this vehicle. Any comments/suggestions? Was this due to needing them replaced now (bought car 5K or so ago)?
