Hi everybody

I have a SLK 200 / 2001 and the lights of Abs/Esp and Check Engine turned on few days ago. At the service they red the faults from the computer and they said to me that the rear left speedometer sensor has problem and needs replace. Does anybody knows where is the position of this sensor? Are they 2 sensors (left&right)? Is it posible the problem to be only on the cable-connector of the sensor?
Thank you.

yes, your got 1 sensor in each wheel.

just behind the wheel. you won't miss it if the car is lifted.

Thanks Sleepwalker! Great pic!
I will check the sensor but is it posible, driving the car untill i fix it, to make bigger damage to engine or to electronic firing? cause the check engine light is on and i feel the acceleration of the car (but only when i am in low rpm) not very smooth. Thanks again!

Best Regards,
