Hi,
I've just taken delivery of my SLK350 this past Saturday. I'm wondering if anyone has had body molding installed on their vehicle? I have looked at what is available locally and it won't fit the bill. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ray, I have a Black 2001 SLK320, which had no nicks or dents when I purchased it. In order to keep it that way, I installed side moldings. MB does not make side moldings for this car. I tried to find pre-cut moldings, painted the the correct color (040), but they were just not there. Finally found black moldings that came in a roll with tapered ends, on line. We popped a chaulk line, cut the molding, and installed them. They came out perfect! They look like they are part of the car. Not sure about the 350. But if you cannot find some place in your local area, go on line and do it yourself. The color of your car may be the only problem. You may have to get the moldings painted.
