Hi From another newbie.....Im Toying with the idea of buying a SLK 230 Can someone tell me the difference (besides color coded door handles & door mirror indicators) between pre 2000 models & post 2000 ? Cheers Mike

Hi,
In the UK the difference was restyled front and rear bumpers. Black bottom to sills and front rear bumper replaced by full body colour. Turn signal indicators fitted into the door mirrors. Seats made thicker (better). Carbon Fibre appearance dash replaced with "Turned Aluminium". Introduction of 320 SLK. Numerous small mechanical and electrical updates. Hope i haven't missed something important.
