should I trade a '95sl500 for a '06c230

I recently had a baby and have been pondering the pros and cons of possibly getting a 4 door sedan ( c230 kompressor ). I really like the idea of a 4 cylinder manual and a warranty plus it will be new and have room for baby stuff. my sl is nice and paid for, but I did buy it used and if something major goes wrong i would have to get a second mortgage to pay for it. I probablly wont trade it, but was wondering what other people thought of the idea.
