Shifter knob replacement

Can anyone give me instruction on how to remove the shifter knob on my 1990 mercedes
500sl.???

Well, it doesn't look like anyone is going to offer any help, so I'll tell you how I take mine off. Maybe yours is the same. If not, never mind.

There's a plastic emblem on the top of the knob. Pop it off using a small flat blade screwdriver and a rag being careful not to scratch, dent, or tear anything. You should see a hex key or torx nut. A few turns with the appropriate wrench and voila.

remove c clip ..use long screw driver to pop out.to install put grease and plug in
best to buy 2 pcs. easy to break.....
