S600 Coupe

I've been lurking for a while and finally step into the light.

I have an opportunity to purchase a '94 S600 Coupe with 78K mi for less than a cheap Korean subcompact.....

Books/maint are current and the MB has been well cared for.

I've known the car since it's purchase (it's in the family).

It's an amazing car, but I am a little stressed about the potential maint issues/cost(s).

What should I be looking for ......?

One thing to keep in mind, it is a 94 and 78K miles is low mileage, but these cars are very, very expensive to fix and as things get old, things break. One thing I have been told about these cars, make sure the AC aka climate control works and works well. A service writer at the dealership where I have my car serviced told me most of the system is under the dash and to R&R just the dash is $3K, not including the repair. I also had my eye on a 95 S and walked away after I checked into the cost of repairs.
