Looking to replace the spark plugs and wires for my 2002 SLK 320.

I already bought new plugs, any advice on what wires to buy.. and where? I was trying to find a vendor selling Magnecor but so far have been unsuccessful.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Why do you want to change the wires? Do you have a problem?

Suggest you change the plugs (subject to mileage covered) but leave the wires.
Usual plug change point on the M112 is in the region 50 to 70 k miles. I also suggest you stay with OE Beru platinum plugs.

Don't be enticed by the advertising for extra power, improved gas consumption etc for "Platinum with Yttrium, 4 tips" etc.... These alternatives MAYBE better but the standard ones work just fine and you know you won't wreck your engine.

My vehicle is older and with more miles and has no signs of misfire etc due to plug leads or whatever despite spirited driving.

Wires are joined to coil.

Use OE
or from generic MB parts vendor.

The current spark plugs have 93K miles on them, and are misfiring on the 1st and 4th cylinders.

Is there a recommended vendor online i can purchase OE or Generic MB wires from?

Thanks
