Does anyone have a reccomendation for "quiet tires"?. I upgraded my 96 S500 to 18" AMG''s 235/50x18. I have always installed Michellins on all of the S Class MB''s that I have owned but have become dissatisfied with the tire wear. Running a set of Goodrich now, decent tire but too noisy any suggestions?

Try some expensive Michellin Pilot Sport PS2''s. I got about 14K miles out of my rear 275/35/18''''''''s but still have plenty of rubber on my front 245/40/18''''''''s.
They are quite and really grip the road. OBTW, they are a Summer Performance tire.
