I RENTED OUT PICNIC PAVILION #8. Not sure if they will ask, or if they have some sort of check in. But you're there for the CLEMENS PARTY.

Is this a supra meet?

No, I just created it first on those forums, so they were the first ones to respond to it. Hence why there's so many Supras on the list. It's for EVERY car! I used to post these meets up on corvetteforums and such...but I guess those guys have a "domestics rule" mindset because they deleted the post saying it was "pointless". Probably because it was a full list of Supras. You saw the pictures at the last one right? I put the link in there from the photos of the meet. There were about 30 cars there. I paid $65 for this picnic pavilion, so I am hoping more than 10 people show up to make it worth the while!

I just joined this site, sorry I missed this BBQ. How often do you do these? I would like to start getting involved with Mercedes clubs. I am in York PA, and can never find any news around here. Please let me know.

I organized 2 BBQ's within 4 months. I never hear of too many "Mercedes-only" meets, but the other import owners TRY to get you guys to all come out to these events...and most of the time, none of the luxory imports ever show up. But Jason, I will be hosting a charity event in the Spring which you're welcome to attend.

Sorry I couldnt convince the guys to drive up 2hrs and 40 minutes and I didnt want to go to a meet where I didnt know anybody. We ended up doing a local meet and watching the skins game. Maybe next time. We have plenty of mercedes only meets down here in the DC area. I organize at least 2 a month and alot of us meet up every weekend. If you guys are free on Nov. 4th we rented out Capitol Raceway in Crofton MD and will be doing 1/4 mile runs all day/ Some of the cars in attendance (me, a few 600+hp E55's, NEW Z06, NEW M5, s/c Clk430, renntech C32, modded older Z06, porsche 997, porsche 996 turbo, a couple E46 M3's, and maybe a couple typhoons, a 10 sec cyclone, and some others I'm not remembering right now. Try to come watch!

If I'm not working I will see about coming down to watch.

lol, it's definitely not a car club! Just an online car community, like this one! There's just thousands more members...and people actually willing to hang out with one another. ;) We're diehard!

If you're referring to us, we just hang out. They aren't car shows. Anyways, we've recruited a SL65 and Cl600 V12 biturbo to come to the track as well. Unfortunately the new M5 owner doesnt take delivery until friday so he wont bring it to the track. Is anybody going to be able to make it? We're also going to a "mega meet" (more of a car show but outdoors, there was an Ultima GTR at the last one) on saturday night and maybe do autocross on sunday.

You guys missed out on a GREAT weekend! We had a few modded E55's that ran high 11's and SL65 that ran a 11.75 A renntech ECU CL600 that ran high 11's The new Z06 proved to be very diffcult to launch and only got into the 11's twice out of over 10 launches. There was a cyclone there that ran a 10.2!!!!!!!! And the "Hurricane" mustang showed up and had an 8 second pass. The mega meet was awesome too. Especially the cruise up there with all the euro's. We ended up going to imports vs. domestics at MIR on sunday. 800 cars raced and 300 in the car show (both records). Fastest car- A HEAVILY modded supra that ran 7.52!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best weekend I've had in a long time. Probably last of the season.
