Hello,
The lower grill on my SLK32 had a large dent in it from something big....Lucky it was thre or the intercooler would have taken a big hit... (It is the intercooler there, no? Radiator? Whatever, it would have been expensive...)
I removed the grill as carefully as I could, but I still broke the 2 plastic clips at the top that hold it in place. I won't drive the car again, until I can get the grill back on.
My nearest MB dealers are over an hour away. Does anyone have an online source for these?
And while I am asking - any links to aftermarket replacent grills that look nice?
Thanks,
Kevin

If you call your dealership, they should sell and mail/ship you the parts saving you time and fuel. Just a thought.

Thanks. I have had terrible experiences with dealers (not just MB) so tend to look elsewhere when possible. In this case I found no other source. I ordered from Intercar in Newton NJ, 4 clips. $10 shipped. I can't wait to get them, as I'd like to get some more fast miles behind the wheel before the roads get all salty and I have to put it away for the winter :-(
Thanks again,
Kevin

Is Intercar a dealership or do they have parts we can't get elsewhere. Rassmussen MB of Portland, OR does ship parts (gladly) from my experience.

Sorry, I wasn't specific. Yes - they are a dealership.
www.intercar.mercedescenter.com/mbcenter/b/index.jhtml I couldn't find any 3rd party companies selling these small parts.
