Need help to decide (E320 purchase)

I am currently owning a C230 Kompressor, year 2000, 43000 kms. Works perfectly.
I was thinking selling it and getting an E320 about the same year (or -+1 year).
I am physically pretty tall and this is also what motivates me to get that model.
Apart from that, is the extra money worth it? How is the quality of the E320 compared to the C230 Kompressor? How about the power?

Never owned a C class so I can't compare.  We have a '98 E320 and we love it.  I am 6'3" 270 pounds and I have no problems fitting or being comfortable in the car.  The seats really have plenty of travel for the taller or bigger driver.  The E320 has plenty of horsepower and glides along at 90 mph like it was born to.  The fit and finish of the car is impressive.  Not sure what the price difference is but I think for the money the E320 is great.

I'm no stranger to Mercedes.  I also own an '89 300CE and love it too.  Although it is slightly underpowered.
