So another problem with my car that keeps my from driving it. I programmed every component in the car, everything works good so far.
The problem that I have is that when I try to start the car, it cranks, but does not start. I installed a new starter and the battery was fully charged. So then i pulled one of the spark plugs with the coil and cranked the engine, so it turned out i have no spark.
Any help, thoughts or opinions from you guys are greatly appreciated(sleepwalker

Thanks

it is better to read the fault code first than doing trial and error.
the ignition is electronicaly controlled, and there is no way of knowing now what causes the problem. it can be crankshaft position sensor, ME control unit or some loose connectors.
have started the engine already before?

no sleepwalker,
the engine havent been started before, i already had the codes read and its all clear.
What is ME control unit and where it is??

i already talked to the guy that programmed it today, he said that he programmed it and that spark is electronically enabled when the engine cranks at ceratin RPM's???? Is this true?? My engine still cranks, but maybe at around 200 rpms, (i can tell by my needle on instrument cluster).
Can it be the coilpacks????

did he check for fault when he program it? or he did check but no error code?
please be more specific so we can save space on this post.

He said he checked, but no error codes!

can there be a possibility that something is not programmed correctly??

yes, possible.
did you replace the OCP, IC, ESM, or EIS? those could dis-able the starting.

i know i replaced EIS
what is OCP, IC ESM???

overhead control panel, instrument cluster, electronic shift module.
would you like me to come over there to solve your problem in one day?
i got a Star Compact3 mercedes-benz computer in my living room table for 3 months now and i can flash/program/coding/adaptation all your control units.
i will pay for the lunch...you pay for the fare

oh yes, i replaced all of those except for instrument cluster, but you dont need instrument cluster to start the car, correct??
where are you located right now??
i dont take MB to the dealer no more, because they dont do their work they supposed to.
My car is currently at the independent MB Shop, they havent gotten a chance to look at it yet, but i will let you know what happens.
I will keep you updated!!!
Thanks

i am presently working on the other side of earth from you.
if you will dig directly through the earth's core and mantle, in china is where i am.
whta i do whenever i check the car is...i would make a single list of everything that it needs and the options that we both need to decide.
i don't do like others who fix 1 problem and proceed to the next one. it pisses the customer to go back to the workshop more than twice in a month. time is gold.
just note down all the details that you may get from their diagnostic result, so we can have a point to start on.
your car is the most easiest model to fix. almost all of the control units are capable of storing faults, datas and can be actuated using MB computers.
after next month, i will set up my remote diagnosis, and they can hook up the car for me to check via internet or STAR DIAGNOSIS NET.

thanks sleepwalker, i will keep you updated!!!
it pisses me off that noone is sufficiently trained to program my car correctly, i have no idea how they get their certifications

joke. You asked how do they get thier certifications from. Probably from online off Ebay or something.

probably, because i asked the technician: why do you think there is no spark? - he aswered: I honestly don't know!
What is that?

he got no idea?
well, we can name at least a minimum of two components which can cause it and i can name at least 5.
even newbies in this forum can say...crankshaft position sensor or ignition coil, and that counts a lot.

can you please name the 5 components that you think might be wrong?
Thanks, sleepwalker!
