I have a ML320 and trying to replace the front pads. How do you get the rotor loose, and/or off for replacement?

Once you get the wheel and caliper off, there is a simple looking screw in the rotor that you need to remove. After that, the rotor should come off with a little muscle. The lug nuts keep the rotor on the hub, along with that single screw.

i wonder why you want to remove the rotor by just replacing the front pads?

Maybe his rotors are worn. When I changed mine, I "miked" it to see.
