I didn't make up that saying, of course. Dogs like women just fine and so do I. What if Neil Armstrong had said, "One small step for persons. One giant leap for personkind." Does have quite the same ring, eh?
So anyway, do you have a dog? If so, what is it?
I have an 11-month-old Yellow Lab. I named him Merlin at first. Because of his color I renamed him Biscuit shortly thereafter, but it never stuck. The humans wouldn't quit calling him Merlin, so it remains so. It's just him and me in this big 'ol house now.
I refuse to alter his anatomy in any way. He will mature to be a ManDog and he will always have his dew claws. He has those two items for a reason. I believe I'm too insignificant to decide otherwise.
He only gets to ride in the truck. What a mess. Looks like Chewbacca (sp?) lives and sheds in there. He's a constantly exploding furball. Have you ever seen a dog bounce around like a Superball inside a vehicle? Take Merlin to an automatic carwash. I had paw prints all over the interior, including on my face.
I wish he'd quit chewing on me, though. And peeing on my car tires. He doesn't realize how close he comes to going to ManDog heaven.
Ya know? Ford makes this little thing called an Excursion. You should check it out.
Do you get along with your neighbors, or do your pets just eat them if they give you any lip?
"Scooter" That reminds me. There's a little Scottish Terrier that visits my property almost every day. I have no idea where he comes from or where he's going to, but he passes by here on his way there. I looked at his collar one day and found his name is Scooter. And what an appropriate name. He just blurs from one point to another. He runs the gas right out of Merlin in just a few minutes. Merlin tries as hard as can to catch him but Scooter just buzzes from here to there dodging Merlin's best attempts. Finally, Merlin will just stop, sit down and watch him like he's watching a tennis tournament, just his head scanning back and forth. Scooter can't weigh more than ten pounds and Merlin's up to 60 now. Those two are a riot to watch. Then Scooter just scoots off to wherever he goes every day.
... and I think it's great what do with your spare time. I'm sure those animals appreciate it.
LOL
Wow! Pretty dogs. Look happy and healthy, too.
I love that name, Velcro.
I hope this works. This is Merlin at 7 weeks.
Here he is wondering if he belongs to a looney toon.
And here he is after I bored the snot out of him.
As long as you keep them in the back yard, it's cool. Alive, in the back yard. Fried, in the house.
You don't take any live ones when you travel, do you? I checked into a hotel once in New York. There were chicken feathers in the hallway. It was eerie. That wasn't from your chicken, was it?
