Owned a 2001 SLK 320 and want to change the factory air filters with K&N air filters. Owners manual does not ilustrate how to remove the filters to exchange with new ones. Does anyone knows what do I need to open in order to get to the air filter compartment???Confused

Also, changing the air filter more often will help keep the Mass Air Flow Sensor clean, which costs a fortune to replace.

if you use those filters (here in Brazil we call them "sport filters"), isnīt the engineīs life (how much it lasts) shorter??

I heard that it makes the car a little bit faster, but it also causes damage to the engine if used for long mileages
