Hello friends, i am new to this forum and just signed up today. this is a great forum. I just purchased a 2004 clk 320 with 15k miles on it from a major dealer. The car is being shipped as i post this message. I just wanted to know from the experienced CLK owners what i need to know about this car. The dealer gave me a 15 months, 18k miles warranty with the purchase. Do i need to purchase an additional warranty? if i do, what company should i purchase it from? I appreciate all the feedback i get from all of you here. Does this year CLK have problems that i need to know about? it only has 15k miles on it. thanks again for any feedback.

I too just acquired an 04 CLK320 (couple of months ago)
From what I hear some of the issues you might encounter down the road, might be a little expensive and extended warranty''s are recommended to help with that.
I bought a certified one and with that I also obtained a factory Merc extended warranty. 3rd party warranty''s are always suspicious when it comes to collecting on them.
