Ben,

Not that it matters and you don't have to answer, but are you male or female?

hey Lugnut,

Why do you ask? Also, if it doesn't matter whats the issue?

sleepwalker, you're more than welcome at my bar. :) Fly on up. Hell, it's at a hotel, so, you're golden! As long as you tip well. ;)

Lugnut, I agree. Being a bartender and getting stressed out because you have people getting pissy at you because you don't have time to get them a drink immediately sucks. Plus, I actually get to socialize with the guests, give them suggestions on where to go in the area, and learn about them. It makes for good tips, and you get to know the "frequents". I have met some amazing people there. One of my guests brings me chocolate from California everytime he comes out here. And if he doesn't bring it for me, when he goes out for dinner, he brings me back dessert! I love him!

Ben,

I was trying to tread lightly because I was thinking there's surely a satisfactory explanantion. Also, it's not necessarily any of my business. You don't owe any explanations.

Oh, heck. Out with it...

Your name is Ben. Ben is usually a male name. It doesn't have to be, but it usually is. Therefore, my assumption is that you're an adult male, which could very well be an incorrect assumption. I always take a peek at a new member's profile just because I can and for different other reasons. When I looked at yours, you said one of your interests is "boys." An adult male with an interest in boys sounded a little weird to me.

Maybe you're a little league coach. Maybe you're a parent with sons. Maybe you're a pedophile, I dunno.

Why is this world so full of narrow minded people? Judgmental people? and people who don't care or leave room in their minds for others who might not be the same as them.
Just because one of my interests is boys, doesn't mean I am a pedophile. The word boys, I was actually referring to others like myself boys, men, guys, males or what ever, it doesn't have to mean little or young boys. So yes, this makes me a Homosexual. I'm still human, I'm still a man and I still like mercedes-benz so as far as this site goes, the sexuality I was born with and have no control over has nothing to do with you or the fact that i'm into the same cars as you and anyone else on this forum. So are we glad we have that out of the way.
lets talk merc's :)

I didn't judge, but I understand why you're defensive.

In America "boys" are not men in the context of how it appears in your profile. It just sounded weird. I guess there's a cultural difference.

We also use "boys" to refer to our buddies, such as, "The boys are coming over to watch the game." But, we wouldn't list "boys" as an interest in a list as a reference to our buddies.

Again, we're in different hemispheres. I mean, heck, you're upside down.

Ben, the SLK was a 2001. I don't own her anymore though. If you look through the rest of this thread, I stated it somewhere...lol.

My little bar is in the Philadelphia suburbs in Pennsylvania, USA. Inside of the Courtyard Marriot.

I'm new to site in VA. Until a month ago I owned a 2000 C280 and a 99 E320. I am so disgusted with the dealer in Newport News VA, I bought two new BMWs with European Delivery. I picked them up in Munich on 9/15. The Mercs were fine cars, but the dealer was the worse I have ever dealt with. Only reason I bought the bimmers was that service could not get worse.

Mercs were both purchased in the SF Bay area. When we moved to VA, the dealer said they would not give us their best service due to us buying in CA. I explained I lived there and driving 2800 miles to buy a car was not possible. The GM then indicated if I paid them $900 per car, they would give their best customer care. Absolutely as mad as "Alice in Wonderland" CA dealer was excellent. It isn't just the car but the dealer.

Dang...I didn't even see these posts! I'm sorry for neglecting! I MIGHT be getting another Benz after my Mazda is paid off...or I owe very little for it. I don't know what though. That's 4 years away. :(
