My wife has a 1999 E320 4Matic, she is complaining about the rain sensor not working [:@]. I drove the car in the rain and she's right. I even removed the dash cover started the car and drove in this greatOragon rain. It does not turn on, sometimes it works a few times then wont turn on again. Is there a sensitivity adjustment or anything anyone can help me with? Used search to no avail in forum already.

 

I believe the rain sensor is located on the windshield itself, behind the rear view mirror... the sensor on the dash is a temperature sensor and is unrelated...

Temp sensor is in front behind grill, behind mirror is garage door opener option 3 with 3 programable buttons. the rain sensor is on dash I'm pretty sure.

 

Ah... the sensor behind the grille is for the exterior temp reading...
