Just purchased an 87 E300 with 105k miles for my middle daughter in college from ebay knowing what to expect...almost mint body and interior..took it into local MB service to get a "fine tooth comb" (no pun intended) look..putting some money into making sure it is safe and dependable and a little extra to make it special...service tech actually wanted to shake my hand for wanting to take such care of such a "classic" car..said he has never enjoyed such a restoration project before. Anyway, just wanted to say hi..I know why Benz people are proud of their driving instruments...
