Hello all,
I disconnected my battery in the trunk and without thinking closed the trunk. Now when I use the metal key it will turn but will not open. I have tried everything (searched posts for ideas too) and it will not open. With no power I cannot use the remote. Any ideas? Is there a manual release inside the car somewhere? I never had a problem before but I never had the battery diconnected either.

Nevermind...I used wd40 and some pliers to really get the key to turn the exta travel needed and it finally opened. I think it needs an adjustment....I will not be disconnecting the batterty and closing the trunk again however!

i believe you turn the key to counterclockwise then push inward.
