Help! Newer E or older S???

Rookie and first time Cedes buyer looking to make my first purchase.

Was seeing some 2003 E500's online (1year lease returns) for around 50,000, BUT then I see the S 430 class 2002's with a little higher mileage (around 40-50K).

S class will always be the head turner, but with 50K, she is gonna show some wear here and there.  Also my worst fear is the dreaded body change. I noticed S class has been the same for years. I bet it is about time for a body change. That's all I need, to spend 50,000$ for an S, then get the ole "nice car, did you see the NEW body style?"
