not liking to admit to doing something wrong.  when replacing the right lamp I didn't make sure it was tight and in-place in the socket.  so when I turn my lights on it just lit up in just a steady light, no flashing.  Sure enough I was a 1/4 turn off or so.  No problem I turned it into place and were off, problem fixed.  Except every once in awhile when I turn my lights on, it will just flashes one time or stays on for a couple of seconds or maybe flash a few times.  never lasting more than a few seconds.  Then after they have been on for a short bit, no problem until the first time you turn on the lights the following day.  not that big of a deal, except I kind of like everything to be just so so.  anyway, be careful.

Put another bulb in with dielectric grease on the contacts.
Chanches are, the bulb that's in there now has a loose filament.
