I have a 2014 ML 350 and per the dealer there is no power to the Cigarette Lighter in the console because it is blowing fuses and needs to be replaced. A $400 dealer item to replace. Does anyone know how to access or remove the console to access the Cigarette Lighter? I have found a replacement part online and would like to replace it myself. Thanks!

 

Hello - I tried searching and didn't find a definitive guide, but some may help you out. Try googling 'w166 center console removal' or the same keyword in youtube - you may find some helpful guides there.

 

Thanks for the information. I have reviewed the YouTube video on the w166 center console removal before and it does help some but it is for an older model GL.
