Engine noice in 1998 E430 cabin

I am hearing an engine noice comming at freeway speeds that sounds like a sawing machine. Does any one know this problem?

It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. Check under the hood to see if all the hoses are plugged in, sometimes they get loose. Also check your air filter box, if it gets loose, it will make the same noise.
