electric seat problem,1993 320 sl.

i have a mercedes sl320,1993.the electric seats no longer work in any direction.the control panel was very temprimental for some time before this,but would work from time to time.any ideas? do i need new control panels? many thanks, asa.

Check the Relay located in the Fuse Box - Should be K24 Relay - or see the bottom of the fuse box cover.

You can check the K24 relay mentioned in the prior post by checking Fuse #4 for battery voltage. Also check fuses E and F. If all of these are fine, then you need to check inputs to the controllers and outputs from them. Email me for a schematic.
