Correct?
I use aerosol motorbike chain lube. Spray on wet, it wicks into the hinge and half sets to a greasy film.
Wipe off excess.

Thanks BAZ. I have some and will try it. I was wondering if the motor company had some sort of fancy fluid. And a proceedure other than the "goop it on and let it absorb" method. Actually, chain lube sounds like a superior product. Do you use a foaming grease type like Bell Ray, used for o-ring (sealed) chains?

Similar foaming type. Then wipe off excess after a bit.
