CLK Headlight switch replacement

Hi
Located a faulty connection on the headlight switch fuse box and i now have a complete replacement rotary headlight switch and fuse box module.
How do i replace it and when i do will i have to get the ECU reset.
Can i just un plug and replace or do i need to do anything else.
