CLK 500

I WANT TO FIT A 6230I TO MY CLK I CONTACTED MB AND THEY TOLD ME THE PART NUMBER FORTHE CRADLE
THAT I WOULD NEED AT THE MOMENT IT HAS A 6310I CRADLE AND HAS THE VOICE ACTIVE OPTION AND ALL THE PHONE
SHOWS ON THE TV/SAT NAV SCREEN IT WORKS VERY WELL WITH THE 6310I BUT THE CRADLE THAT THEY TOLD ME TOBUY DOES NOT FIT NOW THEY HAVE TOLD ME IT WOULD COST ABOUT £1000 TO MAKE THE 6230I WORK HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PHONE PUT IN THERE CLK OR KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE

Where are you located? What MY is your CLK?

If you have a factory fitted UHI phone kit, you should be able to use the Nokia 6230i... If you have a standard 6310i phone kit installed in your car, you can't just connect a 6230i cradle to the existing phone kit parts; you would then need to upgrade to UHI.

as for my clk its a clk 500 elegance 2002 fully loaded and like new
i bought it from a my brother inlaw so i no its had a good life so far
i am from the south east of the uk (kent)
