CL500 (2000) Misfire

Having trouble with misfire that dealer has not been able to solve.
Codes say misfire cylinder 1, and MAF sensor fault. Dealer has:
Changed MAF sensor
Swapped plugs, coils etc, still says cylinder 1
Swapped fuel injectors, ditto
Compression test OK
Initially misfired when accelerating hard, but now much worse.
I have car back again from the garage, with maybe its the ECU?
Anyone any ideas

Was wondering if you got it fixed and what was the problem. I've got a 2000 E55 with a similar problem (throws a cylinder 3 misfire but only under full throttle acceleration going from 2nd to 3rd gear). Drives fine other than that one situation. My Mercedes mechanic is stumped after going through the normal troubleshooting.
