Child Seat - from 0 years old

Hi

I'm new to Mercedesforum.com. I drive a CLK320 - a nice car but you REALLY don't want to know how much it cost in Singapore!

Unfortunately I've hit a snag. Part of the agreement when I originally made the purchase was that it would come with the Topsafe Child seat. After they've checked with Germany they have now told me that this model of seat has been recalled (actually happened back in 2004 - they clearly didn't have their finger on the pulse at this end) and that there is no official mercedes replacement as yet? Seems strange that would be no replacement given that we are already at least one year further down the road.

Does anyone here know of any viable options? (and no, selling the car is not one of them! - my wife would kill me)

There are some pics of childseats on it, although I don't think that those are from the Topsafe seat...
