My CEL came on this morning and now Im back w/the codes.P0172 and P0175 are the two codes that read.The guy at Autozone said that the my car was running "rich" and its might be getting to much gas or something.Maybe the gas and air mixture is wrong he said? I know hes not a mechanic so I need all help I can get so I know something when going to the mechanic or stealership.Thanx in advance.

Forgot to mention I drive a 02'E320 w/78K.

Probably not the o2 sensors,both of them failing at the same time would be odd.
Both banks running rich could indicate a dirty air filter,change it
www.autohausaz.com and a faulty or failed mass air sensor.Check that it is firmly plugged in and then if it is clean it with crc maf cleaner per the diy on benzworld.org w210 diy section.............
get back with the results.No need to go to the shop,you can fix this yourself

I had my CEL light on for the last week or 2. I went to Montreal this week with my CEL light on. I decide to go put gas at a different gas station, even if my tank was half full ,and then the light came off and hasn't lit since. I am starting to wonder if it can be in the gas.I would recommend to put gas at another place and see what happens. I have an E320 4Matic 2001 86000Km.
