Feeling foolish, I scrolled through 21 pages here before deciding the rest of you had this figured out or had newer cars. On mine (which I've owned for over a month now) there are no visible screws to detach around the headlight, and the ones accessible from inside adjust the aim but don't loosen the lamp. The Schucks clerk who sold me the headlight said I'd just have to find a way to get the metal band off the installed headlight. I can come up with ideas, but if there's an actual CORRECT way (ie nondamaging) I'd sure like to try it first. Anyone kind enough to respond, please be nontechnical in your language. I know human A&P, but not cars. Although, normally, I am able to change my own headlights without expert consultation. Feeling a little intimidated here.
