CHANGED REMOTE BATTERY NOW DOESNT WORK HELP

First let me say its nice to have aplace like this to be able to read about ml320's

ok i have a 98 ml320 and I Changed the remote battery and now its not working do i need to take it to the dealer to be reprogramed or what?

also are all ml's radios able to turn on after the key is removed ?

the key may have the problem already.

there is a run-on time for the radio after the key was or the car was locked.

I had the same problem (not really a problem), all you need to do is to synchronize the system. If you have the owners manual, you will find information on how to do it. It takes a minute.

Turn your key to position 2 and back. Pull the key out and while holding the LOCK button on your remote, press the unlock button 5 times. Thats it. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. WPD394@JUNO.COM
