Hi,
I just got a 1999 CLK320. I would like to know if the car is prewired for a cd changer, and if so where? I would assume it goes in the trunk but cant find the wires and dont want to start ripping up the carpet if the car isnt prewired. Please help!

Yes it is prewired. Try in the trunk underneith the matt where the spar tire is. You will see and orange cord and that is it.

On my ''98 CLK320, the changer is found on the extreme right of the trunk under its own cover. It is NOT under the spare tire cover. And yes these cars are prewired with fiber-optic cable for the changer. Hope this helps.
